Patrick Sinz started his professional career working in research centers (INRIA and IRCAM) in the early 80's, and has been teaching since 81 various aspects of computing at the University of Paris 8, lately focusing on E-Government. |
From the mid 80's till the mid 90's he then managed various industrial projects as a consultant specializing on Unix kernel related activities, he helped launch or develop several specialized consulting companies, with significant international activities. In the mid 90's he launched an Internet consulting startup. Following the sale of this enterprise he took various responsibilities at Cap Gemini Telecom and then at Hewlett Packard. His last role at HP was World Wide E-Government Business Development Manager. In 2004 he founded Ethiqa SAS a Consulting startup specializing in addressing the needs of the Public Sector in Europe and in Emerging countries using Open Source Solutions and Processes. Ethiqa is Member of the ADULLACT (Association des
Utilisateurs de logiciels Libre dans l'administration et les
collectivités territoriales) and of the Open Forum Europe
(promoting usage of FOSS in the Public Sector at the EU level). |
